Default rapidshare problem

i noticed today that when i use jdownloader anything i try to download from rapidshare gets to 1.93mb and then disables, when i resume it will only download another mb or so before it disables itself, i can download from other sites using jdownloader and from rapidshare using the direct link....is there a fix for this?

You also can not download files via the rs website. Same problem. Maybe they change something bigger?

I have the same problem. After 10 seconds I've lost my connection and I must wait 5 minutes. Download via site is very slow, above 10-20 kB/s

So - this is NOT jD fault.
They have serious bandwidth problems or they started to limit free users speeds even more.

What exactly happens when you try to download in your browser, are the speeds the same ?

they throttle speed by very stupid technique...we try to increase timeouts
for our internetconnectgion we get no data for more than 60 secs...

I am from Greece and I have now the same problem. The download of a RS link with jD or from RS site stops at ~1.95MB.

a) I've tried with browser (Opera Next)... and it is as Jiaz said... rather weird speed throttling technique from RS - the browser stops exactly at 1,8772 MB then it waits about 50 seconds and then downloads another 1,8772 MB wait again 50 sec. etc...

b) Then I've tested RS with Nightly - no connection lost but speed fluctuates from 15-200 KB/s. Unfortunately mostly in lower ranges.... (25-30) - but we know why - see a)

Indeed really stupid technique from RS...

Danke - Enomine

English:
Are you explaining that rapidshare gives us 1 second full speed but then takes a break for 60 seconds until it gives us 1 second full speed again and so on?
So JD has a Problem with that ;-P This was not expected.

Thanks - Enomine

Undoubtly it is not a JD problem talking on rapidshare, I had the same here, the download sttoped close to the end.
By the way, the letitbit plugin is out of date.
One more thing, always the site's downloads are more slowly than using JD.
Cheers

Can anybody tell which Plugin-Version the actual update has?
I did update via jupdate.jar and it still doesn´t load.

My Plugin-Version is 15944.

Thanks - Enomine

The slow speed is not because of jD - read my post #14 or check yourself by downloading using web browser.
The update increases "Timeout for reading" to prevent lost connection after first "chunk" from RS but it will not magically increase a speed.
The latest plugin revision is: 15944

Hi i never talked about increasing speed. i only exactly wrote down what your wrote but as you post wasn´t there when i started to write i couldn´t read it before.

i only explained: 1 second load, 60 second break, 1 second load as an example and however: you wrote nearly the same so its like a confirmation.

Quote:

Since i have this version it es still not loading. The timeout is at 30 seconds at this version. So @editestowy wrote about 50 seconds of break then we need 60 seconds of timeout or better 65 if they increase it to 60 seconds ;-P

Thanks - Enomine

I wonder maybe the waittiime between the chunks depends on country.
Anyway... please update to 15945 and try it again.

correct, because rs now throttles speed again like they did years ago
send some data, pause/nothing/wait, send some data..pause/nothing/wait
