turbobit - slow and aborted no permissions to...
turbobit is so slow. I get like 30 kb per download, with fileserve i could get 200 per download or more.
it sucks and i get no permissions to write to hard disk so i have to always enable download again and resume........ did not happen before with fileserve. but now every minute or so. I use microsoft security essentials, any advice? Last edited by Jiaz; 30.01.2012 at 11:04. |

well i think it was antivirus microsoft security essintials, when i shut it off everything seems to be ok, but i can not open the 80 port, it does not have those settings?
what do you recommend instead? I excluded java from antivirus though, but there is no port settings anywhere i have few settings here turn on real time protection scan all downloads, monitor all files, incoming or outgoing files only enable behaviour monitoring .... |

@garfy
If you've a firewall in your router then you don't need one on your computer. You don't need viruses :- 1) Be careful when you surf. Disable scripts as much as you can. Use OpenDNS and enable its malware filter. 2) Don't execute scripts/programs coming from a source you don't entirely trust (in unsolicited e-mails for instance). 3) Don't use M$ Office applications nor Flash, because these can execute code/macros that might not be safe. |
