Error in Delete Links Finished
I clicked on the task "Delete Links: Finished" and JD deleted a bunch of un-completed links.
I had several packages downloading, each package containing several links in various states: active, finished, pending, disabled. I didn't look carefully at the dialogue box before I confirmed the delete so I lost many links that were pending or that I had temporarily disabled. This happened yesterday and I haven't yet restarted JD in case there was some log that could be helpful. JD has continued to download files from remaining packages and I just activated the <Delete Links: Finished> task and am reading the following: 342 links to delete, 27 files on disk, links left in download list: 806. Problem is there are only 20 finished links to delete. Is there any way to recover the unfinished packages that were deleted yesterday? Last edited by daffdaemon; 16.04.2015 at 02:25. |

Please update JDownloader. This bug is already fixed. You can try to recover backups of old LinkLists in case you have older zip files in cfg folder.

Well, this suks!
I DO have a set of zip files in cfg: 6 downloadList# and 6 linkcollector# I see that they contain exactly what the names imply... BUT downloadlist appears to be on a 5 minute update schedule, so the oldest list is only 30 minutes old. If I had known these were here I might have been able to make a copy as soon as the delete happened, but, alas, I did not. So, suggestion... have another set of autoarchives, on a daily or weekly update schedule or both! |

Sorry for the loss of the links :( But it should work fine now, the delete finished method. can you confirm?

Hi, I just finished update and tried <Delete Links: Finished>. Had a scare for a moment because the normal dialogue box to confirm deletion etc. did not open...just deleted links.
It doesn't appear to have deleted any unfinished links so that's good; but I think the confirm dialogue is important. Was skipping the dialogue intentional? |

did you select dont ask again before on same screen? normally it should ask until you select dont ask again.

I've used it a couple times now. It is not opening the dialogue box.
I don't remember there being a <Don't ask again> switch; but if there is one, and it accidentally got checked; how would I un-check it? |

See advanced setting or just reset all "never show again" dialogs via Settings --> User Interface --> "Reset Diaslog 'Don't show again' flags"

I looked through advanced settings and could not find anything. I used the <Reset Dialog 'Don't Show Again' flags>; but that had no effect on the <Delete Links: Finished> dialogue box.
Still no dialogue. |

Make sure that this is set to HIGH:
GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings: Rly Warn Level

I didn't change the Rly Warn Level. It is set to normal.
But with my last restart the warning dialogue for delete finished links is back. It's all good. |
