Default Rusfolder.net issues

so as I stated in a diff post, rusfolder sometimes gives me "Host problems" error on some dls. I can fix by resetting but it is annoying

also

JD has a limit of 10 parallel downloads but in my browser, I am able to download more than 10 things at once. can this be increased to 20 in JD

Server Issues, 502 Bad Gateway. -> JDownloader will retry after timeout. No need to restart, only if you want to avoid the timeout
Changed max downloads with next plugin update

Agreed

I am experiencing these issues aswell. I am getting a "Hoster issue around captcha" error with an few "Try restarting this link.." and "Host problem.." errors.

tried all the links in your log in chrome they also fail to download. Please always ensure that download that fails in JD works in browser. doesn't work in browser and doesn't work in JD != JD issue.

i'm getting a 'Host error' and not able to download anything from rusfolder.
tried updating plugins and restarting.

going through the web works without error.

should be fixed now, they switched captcha type again

core update is blocking plugin updates at this time so you will need to wait for that to clear.

How is that solved ? I'm still getting the same errors, I've checked for jdownloader2 updates and it seems the program is already up to latest updates. However, the problem still exists for 4 or 5 days now ?
Try restarting the link, (plugin outdated?)

no, uninstalling/reinstalling wont fix, you will just waste time and bandwidth and have the same outcome. Core update is required to clear the update block.

since yesterday I have been getting "Host problem?" error

I can pull up rusfolder in my browser and everything seems fine

I dont know if it is JD or rusfolder but something is wrong.

Default rusfolder.com repeats a 10-minute cycle.

Hello.

The rusfolder.com plug-in appears to have stopped working.
The countdown starts and then returns to a 10-minute waiting period without ever completing the captcha process.

The following link is only one example, but all my links repeat the countdown and captcha process. The link works on the browser with no problem at all.

From the log it seems like a 503 error from their advertising API.
It might have been a temporary issue which always happened in JD as JD will always call the first "advertising url" it finds and this might have been broken.

Works fine here, even with multiple connections per file.

It has stopped working again

I get the "Host problem?" error and 10 min wait as before

maybe you can tweek JD so it selects a diff url so this type of bug wont happen again?

logs I analysed wasn't hoster issue, it was captcha provider Adverigo, which was failing (503 error) and not rusfolder.

I have the same problem recently, and I tested a few links tonight and all tests failed in JD2 and all tests worked fine in browser (FireFox).

So surely this must be a JD issue and not just a general captcha/server issue, or it wouldn't work in the browser.

My JD log also says in response to adverigo api call:

It's an issue with the captcha provider.
Just tested in browser.
I randomly get
503 Server errors
or
503 Service Unavailable (This website is under heavy load (queue full))

I guess it was just luck that it worked fine in browser

Even the api alone does not work at the moment, api.adverigo.com/info.json

It can't be a coincidence. Downloads work every time for me using browser. Never in JD (since the last week or so). I tried many times, with different links at different times.

When you're testing in browser, do you just test the **External links are only visible to Support Staff**Adverigo API url directly or do you try an **External links are only visible to Support Staff**actual download?

For anyone who wants to test this hoster, here's step by step how to download from this site since I know it can be difficult to figure out for non-Russian speakers. I struggled myself in the beginning since I don't speak Russian either.
  1. **External links are only visible to Support Staff**Start here or with any rusfolder.com link found via Google etc.
  2. Select the radio button where you see this text (just look for the number 30, indicating a 30 second wait for free downloads):

    Ожидание 30 секунд
  3. Press the red download button directly below the radio button in the last step. Not the other red buttton on the right.
  4. You'll now see 4 or more grey boxes with sponsor names. Click one of those. I usually click the one starting with "З", but I think all of them works.
  5. A 30 second countdown starts. When it finishes a **External links are only visible to Support Staff**popup/new tab opens (so make sure you allow the popup) with a **External links are only visible to Support Staff**4 digit captcha. Enter the correct 4 digit code and press enter.
  6. After entering the correct captcha code, you are redirected to the **External links are only visible to Support Staff**page with the **External links are only visible to Support Staff**real download link. Just click the red download button or the link to start the download.

If I try the API URL in browser I get an error message too.
I think what's happening is when Adverigo api is down or if **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** is blocked via adblock, the website/browser falls back to a different captcha provider, but JD does not. Possibly the same for ads.

In fact **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** didn't even show up in my (Inspect element) Network tab after reloading the popup in step 5 above, and I found out this was becuase my adblocker had this filter from EasyList:

If I disable that filter or pause adblock I can see the api call failing in the Network tab. But the captcha and download still works (with or without adblock), so that is why I believe there is a fallback to one or more other captcha providers which is not handled by the JD hoster plugin currently.

I tried looking for the code, but I don't understand enough of it to figure out the exact spot. Possibly here:

I hope someone can figure this out, since JD is invaluable to avoid jumping through all those hoops in the step by step above for each download.

I don't see anything that stands out as an external captcha provider in my Inspect element Network tab, but I'm no expert, so I may be missing something or it may be hosted by rusfolder.com locally.

I saw some captcha code **External links are only visible to Support Staff**here too, but I doubt that's it, because that is an adverigo.com hosted script which I believe would be blocked by the EasyList filter I mentioned, and captcha/download works with adblock on or off.

I think this needs someone better at this than me to follow the download procedure in my previous post, and figure out what happens when the captcha appears in the popup.
