Default extraction very slow

Extracting (password protected) archives within JD2 is very slow, about 1 minute per 100MB. While extracting the process with highest CPU-Load is javaw.exe with only 2-5%.
Extraction within JD 0.9.. is 100 times faster.

System: Win 7 64Bit
Verson of javaw.exe: 6.0.310.5

Thanks. After changing CPU-Priority in extraction add-on from medium to high the time for extraction changed dramatically.

1.5 GB archive:
medium : 15-20 minutes
high: 14 seconds

Although this thread is so old I stumbled over the same problem and the solution here helped.

Low priority: 2 minutes
High priority: 8 seconds

The difference seems far to high for intended behaviour so it might be a bug. Maybe one could make the information here more visible. It took me a while to find it.

Oh and what might add to the solution. On low priority the extraction is causing all programs that run on the same drive as the extraction destination to freeze. The target drive is an SSD with 80k IOPS.
