Yes, but the file never finishes download. I've waited a whole 30 min for a small file.

I understand but that's no problem of JDownloader. JDownloader asks filebit to download that file and filebit reponds again and again with this message. I just tested and and it also happens in browser

But can you implement a function by which it'll try the next best option (i.e. use another Multihoster or account-less download) instead of trying forever? Trying forever to download with a non-working Hoster isn't wise. |

At some point it should always fail- and the next candidate should be tried. If you want me to check filebit.pl please provide a new log. Some MOCH plugins have up to 50 retries - and if they are slow it may take some time until JD will try with the next account. -psp-

You can use this link to reproduce this issue as for me it would take some time to create a log.

filebit.pl is special as the file needs to get downloaded onto their server first so currently this is a loop which will check the status up to 200 times with a waittime of 5 seconds in between.
I've changed it so that it steps out of that loop if there is no progress change within 5 tries. -psp-

I've added some more optimizations to waste less traffic - their traffic-counting-system is really bad!
