[Solved by using JD2] Missing packages on restart
hey hi
this has been going on for a while (its driving me nuts) I have: settings/general/downloads & connections/download control/remove finished downloads.... set to "Never" but every time I start JDownloader (-last09- version 0.9.581) all my completed packages are gone.... Also any uncompleted packages are also gone. I've tried changing the settings & restarting the app/computer still acts the same. This wouldn't be a big deal except I use the "package - total size" to keep under my monthly bandwidth totals. (I only clear all packages @ the end of the month) any help/suggestions would be appreciated (I don't ask before I've tried "my" best) thx echo |

Hi
Try a re-install. Other than that, I can't help you because you re the only user reporting this and we're not working on JD1 anymore. If you want, you can check out the JDownloader 2 BETA. GreeZ psp

yes... I didn't put that in my notes but did already try a reinstall (no joy) checked all the posts.... couldn't find anyone else with the same problem (except back in 2010) so I thought is was a longshot... I tried b2 some time ago... change is a big thing to me (traumatic brain injury) I have a hard time to get it right for me... but time stops for no-one mark thread as closed will go on to b2 & just make myself learn it thnx again echo |

ok
Note that JD2 is very dynamic mich means you can configure it the way you want to have it. It shouldn't be more complicated than JD1, in fact it should be easier & faster to use GreeZ pspzockerscene
