i want to execute an event script on a scheduled table.
- at first, for scheduling: i create a scheduled task with ?WHAT? action - 2nd. for execution: the event script (listening on "REMOTE API EVENT FIRED") filters at first with the event object, so there is a near connection between schedule task and corresponding event script. My questions: - which action have i to use due to parametrization the schedule task (action, parameter) - which filter have i to do in my event script with the event-object to identify the "event raiser" as the scheduled task Code:
/* The Event Object*/ /* ========= Methods =========*/ var myObject = myEvent.getData(); var myString = myEvent.getId(); var myString = myEvent.getPublisher();

Contact coalado@jdownloader.org or us via support@jdownloader.org. He can provide help for the eventscripter better than me, because he wrote it

Did you setup reconnect before? does it work standalone?

Can you verify? Reconnect works fine for us.

Verified again - for me Scheduler doesn't trigger Reconnect:
Scheduler shows that it is triggering Reconnect: --ID:1117TS:1429002601044-15-04-14 11:10:01 - [org.jdownloader.extensions.schedulerV2.SchedulerExtension(run)] -> Run action: Ponowne Po³±czenie but nothing else is logged at this time |

Scheduler: Action request - Install pending updates
Hi all,
I'm using several free accounts (without resume option) and don't want to interrupt the downloads forcefully. Although i regularely want to install the pending updates for JD. So I thought about an action in scheduler like "Set stopmark, wait for last downloads to finish, then install updates". Of course also a restart would do because at restart updates are installed, too. Or any ideas how to solve that? I want JD to update/restart twice a day. |

scheduler is the wrong extension, you probably can and want to do this in the event manager, listen for events core update pending -> if downloading = (issue stop mark, on stop update/install update and restart], if not downloading = update and restart (not all those functions exist) The only problem would be it would issue stop mark at the first core update, and not once or twice a day. So if the sceduler could enable/disable event scripter it could work

[Feature Request]
Ok, works fine for me so far. But since I have some issues with JD (not only the V2 but way back the old one, too) I'd like to have an option in the timer to restart JD (same as I would click on File -> restart).
I will fill out a bug report about my JD issues after this post. |

Add an action 'Resume all'
A scheduler action to resume all files would really come in handy, since I often have "File not found"-Errors which are not really errors but can be fixed by a resume.
Thank you for your great work! |

|
||||
|

Please provide a logfile/example links where this "file not found" happens. Because the plugin should be fixed!

EventScripter und Tiefes Entpacken
Hi,
EDIT: For foreign users: Package with a complete season is downloading. After a few files the first episode is finished and gets extracted. Because of archive inside archive the deep extraction starts, but the EventScripter fires ("eventTrigger" : "ON_ARCHIVE_EXTRACTED") after first extraction. Das ist kein Fehler-> Archive wurde ja erfolgreich entpackt und darin befindet sich eben wieder ein Archiv. Es sollten dann zwei Events geben bei Deep-Extract

FYI
I set up 2 schedules, one to start downloading and a second to increase the number of concurrent files per hoster from 1 to 2 (issue with Filefactory). I did a screencap of my setup. The second schedule failed to start, and when I checked, the concurrent files parameter went back to 0. I tried changing the name of the schedule to Schedule 2, but got the same result.
I use the Scheduler because my ISP chokes VPN users from 5PM to 11PM. It's a very handy addition the the program. Thanks! |

Can you provide a screenshot of the Scheduler entry? So the 2nd entry does not work? The one to increase max downloads, right?

Scheduler - Event Scripter synergy
Suggestion: Add "Start an event scripter (plugin) script" in the list of stuff you can start on a schedule.
I would personnaly use it to start "New crawler jobs" type events but with the immense possibilities that the even scripter has, I am sure other users would come up with ideas I haven't even thought of. |

New Options
I would find it great if there would be an option to say that after a sertain time after you startet the download, something like stopping download happens.
Thanks in advance P.S.: Sorry for my bad english |

"Retry skipped downloads" as scheduled function/event.
Please add the equivalent of pressing the bottom right "Skipped Downloads" button to the scheduler. It will be a great help being able to make it happen automatically.
An example: Certain providers, such as upstore, limit the amount you can download each day. If you have a lot more lined up than your daily allowance is good for, the result is that a lot of files will show "Skipped - Account is missing". The account is there though and valid, but waiting for the limit to reset. Pressing the "skipped downloads" button will make JD recheck/retry the files and grab whatever it can until the limit kicks in again. The problem is that people are not always at their computers to regularly press that button, and as such might end up wasting time/bandwidth/subscription by not utilizing the daily limit to its fullest. Letting the scheduler include the functionality to initiate a retry of the skipped files would be very useful. |

The "Skipped-Account missing" for accounts with not enough traffic will be fixed in core itself. This should result in a temp waiting and no skipped.

@Jiaz
I think the underlying issue is a) user has said account that is enabled but has 0 traffic left in account stats, so pre-evaluation of candidates discounts said account (which is desired under current arrangement). b) JD then tries free non account download > this results in hoster saying premium account required > which results in 'skipped account is missing' or The user has disabled free non account mode and error message shows. this is proper handling under current frame work, the problem is... error message and time are not shown with download candidate pre-evaluation. What do you do when hoster has 0 traffic left???, do you show error message and show a wait timer for this situation?? in this specific error type its a bit hard to know when reset time will be... This is exactly why psp made work around for canhandle for multihosters in handleMulti, so that exception can be thrown vs true/false result. To me you want to permit exceptions to be thrown within try catch and then can be analysed by the candidate selection code. This will allow for proper messages and time figures! raztoki

Hi,
Recconnect does not work here. (Has never, since I tested it first half a year ago) Neither via interval, nor if a specifit time (in the future) is set. Maybe useful information: My JD version: Wed Feb 10 17:09:12 CET 2016 I wrote my reconnection script by hand, not via selection/wizard. It is working perfectly when manually triggered. btw: I'd love to send a log, but (after reading how to create a log) its not clear to me, how to send it and to whom... I pressed OK, maybe the log is sent automaticly? Where is the that log, so I can have a look at it too? 8-) cheers! |
