This plugin is working perfectly for the given example link, but unfortunately not working for all links (while pan.baiduwp.com works just fine).

Other links where this plugin doesn't seem to work;
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** Pass: kftx

Plz, check this issue when you get time.

P.S. Also, the function for naming this file seems buggy in JD2 plugin.

API no longer responds with full filename but only file extension. Filename is only provided as an image
I guess this is also causing the issues

can you provide more such non working example links?

Sure;
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Since this issue is related to base plugin (pan.baidu.com) maybe should check;
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
This might help fix both name and login issue for the base plugin.

I've added several workarounds and bugfixes for the next update!
Keep in mind that you might have to delete- and re-add your baidu URLs AFTER the next update in order to make them work for baiduwp!!

I was able to download all of your testlinks via high-speed.

Why is baidu so complicated?
What exactly does the github project do?
Is it an alternative client?
I'm sorry - I don't speak Chinese

For some reason, pan.baiduwp.com JD2 plugin is not working, while pan.baiduwp.com is working fine with Browser+IDM.

> Why is baidu so complicated?

Well, all their account has *2-factor-auth* but it's not necessary to login using *2-factor-auth* unless you want to modify your drive files. To download just normal login is enough.
You can check their official client **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** , **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** & **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Yes, it's an alternative client by which you can bypass the speed limit.

> I'm sorry - I don't speak Chinese

I could help with that but I don't speak Program language, so Google Translator is your best bet.

Please always keep in mind that neither a browser nor IDM is fully automated so they will not fail like JDownloader
Also keep in mind that if you do stuff manually, you can also add direct-URLs to JDownloader.

The process of downloading automated via baiduwp is very complicated as we have to find the baidu file you wanted which may hide in a complicated folder structure

Fixed!

After the next update, delete the previously added baidu URLs and re-add them to JDownloader - then try to download.

Well as you can imagine it is not so easy for us to simply copy all that.
Please stick to baiduwp for now.
It should work better by now/next update!

I know I was just implying that pan.baiduwp.com was functional (As there was nothing wrong from the service itself). I don't prefer the manual, that's why I love JD2.

Understandable! pan.baiduwp.com will do, altho the filename for some file is weird. Anyways, thank you deeply from the heart for working on it.

The filename issue is caused by pan.baidu.com - they've limited their public API (website) and display their filenames as picture which we cannot do.

The filenames will change to the correct names once the download via baiduwp starts

Thanks! (I tested it now). But the folder name is still weird, can you modify it to change to the correct names for folders as well?

Please add more detailed information:
- How are the package names now?
- How are they supposed to look like in your opinion?
- Testlinks (+ password if required)

1. This does not happen for all URLs - especially older content will be fine.

2. As said, pan.baidu.com is hiding their filenames/packagenames inside pictures now.
We cannot just replace our text with pictures - our application is not build for that.

We can either switch to another baidu API in the future or just leave it the way it is.

Sorry, there is nothing we can do about this at the moment!
This is how the "package name" would look at the moment:

It seems like they're doing this on purpose though I cannot verify my thought.

That's my thought as well. I guess it's sort of anti abuse/bot/dmca protection to make it harder to get on filename

For now, this will do I guess. But how will new users download from Baidu by JD2, if they don't check here first;https://board.jdownloader.org/showpo...8&postcount=40
They'd think that JD2 doesn't support Baidu. Can you do something that'd automatically suggest them to follow the necessary steps?

I'll have to ask Jiaz first.

I don't think we'll do this as we would then promote the usage of a 3rd party service which we usually don't do.

To answer your question:
Users who do not know about this will simply not be able to download pan.baidu.com content via JDownloader for now.
