Default www.soundsnap.com

Hi,

I was using a linkcrawler rule kindly provided by psp to automate downloads from soundsnap.com, but this has now stopped working. The original rule is here:

[ {
"enabled" : true,
"cookies" : [ [ "PHPSESSID", "*****" ] ],
"updateCookies" : false,
"logging" : true,
"maxDecryptDepth" : 0,
"id" : 1606151296069,
"name" : "soundsnap.com example rule single audio download via loggin cookie",
"pattern" : "https?://(www\\.)?soundsnap\\.com/audio/download/.+",
"rule" : "DIRECTHTTP",
"packageNamePattern" : null,
"passwordPattern" : null,
"formPattern" : null,
"deepPattern" : null,
"rewriteReplaceWith" : null
} ]

Even after logging out and in and using the correct php sessionid I keep getting an error.

I'd be very grateful if someone could help - I can pm login details for the site on request.

I've checked it with your account and it's working perfectly fine here.
Does it maybe fail only for specified URLs for you?

@MrBojangles: check the logs folder, current session (each start of JDownloader creates new subfolder) there you should find LinkCrawlerRule files that contain debug information, you can send those to pspzockerscene

I sent a link to the log file to psp, but also had a look myself and I can see in the DirectHTPP log that JD is using a different phpsessid to the one I set in the Link Crawler Rules, could that be the problem?

JD can update the session if server responds with newer session.
You can also send to support@jdownloader.org so I can take a look

I'm unable to reproduce your issue.
I've also checked if it e.g. only fails when the cookie is imported from Firefox (as I usually use Chrome) but that's working fine too.
Here is what you can try to re-check my assumption that only the "phpssid" cookie matters:
1. Use Chrome for this test.
2. Install the free- and open source Chrome addon EditThisCookie: editthiscookie.com
3. Visit soundsnap.com, stay in this tab, click on the EditThisCookie symbol and delete all soundsnap cookies except "PHPSESSID".
4. Now refresh the soundsnap tab --> Check if you are still logged in.
If so, your current PHPSESSID cookie should also work fine in JD.

Please know that you have to re-add the links once the cookie expires! The cookie from rule is only applied to links when crawling them

Ahhhhh this was the problem! I didn't realise it worked this way, so sorry for the confusion

Can confirm it's all working again now.

Thank you both for your help

Thanks for the feedback! I will add support to refresh cookies
After next Core Update AND fresh links, the downloads will use the cookies from your rule so when you change it, keep the same id
