Default Problem: why extract does not start while...

I noticed that extacting starts immediately after downloading is completed.
That is bad programming when in Reconnection mode.
First should be reconnection finished and extracting done during waiting period for the new download.

Extraction does not affect reconnection and v.v.

There is no reason to delay extraction.

If you detect an actual problem caused by this (such as insufficient CPU time available for reconnection), please let us know.

If it did not there won't be the need for my post.
It does affect in some way.
I sense it and I feel it when that happens.
I repeat:
why not do the extracting during the wait time?
That is the best time for it.

moving extraction to different time slot (wait time) can solve that problem, as per my suggestion in the followed up thread.

Default Logic applies to the world - Think critically

Your last message was moved here, because it did not add to the other discussion.

That is a kind of logic called "Post hoc ergo prompter hoc" (Latin). The message exists because you think there is a problem. Therefore, you cannot logically use the existence of the message as evidence that the problem exists.

Do the vibrations of your computer change during extraction? Is there any evidence I can present to another staff member?
I repeat:

That would be the best time for it, if there were any wait time. Unless a user is using only one host, other downloads occur during the wait time of the first host. Furthermore, there is no wait time for users who pay their file host (instead of freeloading).
Since JD unrar is mostly a separate program, it automatically takes advantage of times when JD is not using the CPU and disk.
------------------------------------
Please use this as a learning opportunity. You might even read an article about Critical Thinking. I am not being hard on you, I have more patience than most of the staff (10 years as a college professor helps).

On my computer, the unrar process often falls behind the download process. So, not only is there no wait time, but there are not enough resources to find the password and extract the files.
------------------------------------
There are restricted circumstances in which your proposal makes sense. If you have a high speed download connection, only download for free, cannot change your IP, and only download from one host, then there is a significant amount of wait time. The developers have worked hard to make this an unusual situation.
