Default Adding a Direct Proxy

Hi,

I'm running an ssh proxy client from my Mac, in the old 0.9 version I would enter 127.0.0.0 and use port 1080.

When I try to enter the same values in the direct proxy setting for 2 beta, it does accept the port number. Is there a specific way I need to enter the IP and port in the text box as it directs you to use host/port.

My understanding is normally to enter host:port, but neither work.

Please help.

Thanks

Hi i'm running Windows version, so maybe there is little difference from mac. But I'm running the same ssh tunneling as you with no problem with JD2. You need to add proxy and then activate it and deactivate "no proxy" like on screenshot here (3333 is just my local port, you will see there your 1080)

Ann, ok the difference is I'm using the direct option in the drop down.

I'll give it a try this evening with the socks5 option, I think that could be the issue. I never thought of using that one. Duh (best homer Simpson I can muster)

Will post back with results...
