Dropbox.com can enumerate files in directory link, but can't download
25.02.23 20.40.04 <--> 25.02.23 20.29.26 jdlog://2823311370661/
Hi, Trying to download videos in this folder **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** The LinkCollector can see all the video files in the subfolder, but fails to download them with "Try restarting this link (plugin outdated?)" I scanned through a few files in the log directory, but didn't see anything that I could help narrow down the error message. Also the Patreon uploader rotates that link every few days when he/she adds new video to that folder. If that Dropbox link 404's, just let me know and I can get the recent one within a few hours. Thank you. |

It's working fine here.
Here is all I was able to notice: 1. For videos downloaded via JDownloader, the sound is missing. The reason for that can be found here. 2. The dropbox.com website is quite unreliable for those items. To me a lot of video items are displayed without any player via website. It looks like a lot of videos are temporarily unavailable quite often. Please provide a fresh log. Please post your log-ID here | bitte poste deine Log-ID hier. -psp-

New link, and J-log
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
31.03.23 12.56.32 <--> 31.03.23 13.28.35 jdlog://8344311370661/ I did see Jdownloader had an update, and I tried using it shortly after that. A few videos acted like they were starting to download, but then Jdownloader started reporting 403 errors in the "Downloads" tab. Now it's back to the same behavior as before, just saying "Try restarting this link (plugin outdated?) I'm on Jdownloader core revision #47450, if that helps. Thank you. |

Linux-related problem
> It's working fine here.
An update to this, JDownloader in a Windows VM does as you say. It downloads the videos (with no sound, as expected). It was the Linux version that was having issues stated above. Thank you for working with me on this, I appreciate the time you've spent. |

Either an FFmpeg failure or dropbox.com had broken streams. In my tests they were also very unreliable/slow. Please manually re-check via browser and manually download the same stream using FFmpeg directly and see if you're also running into issues, see: ffmpeg.org and: https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...aming-websites Also your most recent example URL is offline again. Please provide fresh example URL(s). Quote:

New link and update
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
ffmpeg also seems to struggle when using the m3u8 file. You're right, the Dropbox site is pretty flaky. And ffmpeg only pulls audio and video separately. Workaround: I did also find that if I provide the .m4v URLs to yt-dlp, it was able to download the videos with audio. That seems adequate to me for now. After rendering the page, using a bit of JS on the browser console let me get the list of videos on the page, newline separated: Code:
var w = window.open(""); w.document.write("<table><thead><th>Links<tbody>"); for(var x of document.querySelectorAll("a")) w.document.write( "<tr><td>"+x.href); |

With the correct parameters FFmpeg should work too.
Your solution is also fine as yt-dlp is also using FFmpeg. I will mark this thread as "Solved". The tickets to underlying missing feature "HLS split audio video support" are linked all over our forum for example here: https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=86215
