uptobox plugin for free acc. is not able to detect the countdown between downloads
Hi everyone,
I have a free account in uptobox and I am using it on JDownloader. When I exceed certain amount of bandwith with uptobox, JDownloader should return a countdown on next file from this server but the plugin is not able to detect the length of that countdown so JDownloader just return something like "bandwith exceeded". Before using this free account I was downloading from uptobox without account and downloading were slower but JDownloader was able to detect the countdown. Now with a free account I have to wait (I am not sure how much time the account is locked for new downloads) and restart the next file. Can you fix it? Please. Thanks in advance.

Hi again,
youg log is very big. Please add a new log that contains only uptobox related actions. I've updated the uptobox plugin to temporarily disable uptobox accounts on limit reached instead of single files but that still doesn't quite fit your problem description. Well you can manually pick logs from [JD install dir]/logs, .zip it and attach it to your next forum post.

Does JDownloader work like a webscrapper? if so I think a mhtml of the page asking me to wait for 30 minutes (it is the same URL as the one given to JDownloader through the LinkGrabber) could be useful too.
am I right? in that case I think it is 100% safe to bring that (instead of my log).

logs are safe , I would recommend zipping and either email into support@jdownloader.org or attach here. all attachments are only viewable by staff. The html is only used to analyse and fix the underlying issue if possible identify.

Youg log is still created with the old plugin revision.
The new revision will set the account limit reached waittime accordingly. I'm still confised by the server-response and I've reported this issue to the uptobox support: Code:
{"statusCode":16,"message":"Waiting needed","data":{"waiting":1414,"waitingToken":null}} -psp- EDIT Also: In the case of uptobox.com, the website is only used when downloading without account! Downloads with free- or premium accounts are done using their API: docs.uptobox.com

I have already implemented a workaround.
If this happens and a waitingToken is not given, I'll temporarily disable the uptobox account for the value of "waiting". Anything wrong with that? -psp-

They've adjusted their API and added another statuscode but they told me that my workaround was also just fine so if you're still experiencing these issues, please post your feedback here.

I'm still getting a "Not enough traffic available" error in return and no countdown.

Again:
1. As said, uptobox.com free accounts will get temporarily disabled after some downloads (though this shouldn't result in the errormessage you got). 2. The updates I was talking about haven't been released yet. Please read my above linked update FAQ regarding "Core updates". 3. If you want me to re-check this, please post another log. I wasn't able to reproduce any of your issues. -psp-

2. OK... now I understand a little better. That kind of updates are those that require JD to restart. My JD restartes few minutes ago but onviously it doesn't means that a certain update have been done. Just an update have have been done. Wich one? The dev-team knows... not me. 3. I have attached a new one... just for helping this to be solved. I'm not in a hurry. I have another idea (helpful in case you could not find a way to make JD detect the countdown): JD uses the API for uptobox's download when there is an account, right? Could JD check the countdown scrapping the webpage that gives the error without leaving the API method for downloading? PS: Please, excuse my bad english. This is not my native language.

I think we should restart this conversation from zero - sorry!
So this is what I can see in your log: Free download attempt -> Limit -> Free Account gets disabled for time defined by their API - in this case: 1361 seconds Now what I don't understand is: How is this related to the website version? Is there a different countdown? I'll try to answer some of your questions anyways: Quote:
You've just received all updates which means your uptobox.com plugin is up-2-date. Quote:

The API can only be used in account mode. I don't understand how a countdown/wait time on their website is supposed to be related to the account mode. Also I initially thought you were talking about free download mode (= no account involved) but your logs always show you using a free account... -psp- EDIT Maybe you could just add a post where you explain exactly what's happening at this moment and what you expect to happen because I'm still groping in the dark...

That's why I'd like the plugin to fix this. If I am not wrong the last log I uploaded was generated using a free account. The countdown was not 1361 seconds. That failed attempt to download was made just after a previous one was successfully finished (without any delay between them) so it has to be 30 minutes (probably few seconds less that 30 minutes because this kind of things isn't instant). Quote:
I hope all this is more clear now. Please, let me know if something is still confusing. EDIT: I don't remember the way I did to launch the download (not perfectly). 1361 seconds are ~22 minutes. So it could be the right countdown. I am not sure. Let me send (will be ready tomorrow) another bigger log. Maybe it could help.

I've attached a new log. I hope it could help. The log is 3.85MB so the only way I found to make it able to be attached is using WinRAR to compress.

Okay then the solution is easy:
Add an account usage rule for uptobox.com and force JD to only allow free account downloads. -psp-

Well you actually found a bug in their API so it's all fine.
Thanks for your feedback and sorry for mis-understanding you so many times -psp-
