Default Problem with Hotlink.cc

First of all Congratulations on the excellent program!
I use it since practically its beginning
The best downloads manager of all!

I'm not able to start downloads from the Hotlink.cc host. This error has been hapenning a few days.
When I try to download links from Hotlink.cc, the following message is shown to me: Encrypted HLS(AES_128) is not supported!

Then the downloads do not start

Is this happening to everyone?
Any way to get around this error?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
thanks for your nice feedback!

Some websites add copy protection to their streams.
Circumventing that is prohibited by law in Germany.

However in the past there was a failure of this plugin as it tried to download that problematic stream sometimes although an official download method is available.
Are you a free- or a premium user of this filehost?

Please post example URLs and a log.

I used the search and saw a post similar to mine. However, in the case of the author of the topic, apparently the problem was solved

I checked here in my downloads and this problem started to happen around 02/15/2021

I'm a free user but all the links I tried to download are free links

Another error is also happening that I forgot to mention: In the link grabber, when copying links from Hotlink.cc, some of them do not generate the file names, instead the final URL of the link is generated
In the example URLs below, happens in two ways: Link that generates the file name and link that does not generate

Here are the sample URLs and the log: (I hope to be posting the log correctly)

Thanks!

But a new problem is occurring.

In the examples of URLs above you can see that when you open by the browser there are 3 or 4 different levels of choice to download: Preview, SD quality, FullHD quality and Original. Being that FullHD quality and Original are the versions with bigger size and resolution

When copying these links for the links grabber is captured in the largest size version (FullHD quality or Original).
However, when the download starts, the size is automatically changed to the size of the SD quality version, and thus ends up saving the file in a smaller version of quality and size.

It is not at all the URLs of this host that it happens to have 3 or 4 different levels of size and resolution to choose from to download. In the other example URLs that I posted in my previous post, they were only 2 levels, and so these other URLs downloaded normally in their size and resolutions of better quality

Is there a solution for this?

Thanks in advance!

Fixed- and added "preferred quality" setting for hotlink.cc see Settings -> Plugins -> hotlink.cc
By default, BEST quality will be preferred.
