Default Daily updates?

For a little while now (about a month, I think), I receive messages from JD2 asking me to install updates wich do not require restart (i assume they are plugins update?).

I like update, I think it's good. However, I receive these alerts 4-5 times a day on average... Has the JD team experienced a surge in manpower lately or is this some kind of bug I'm experiencing? Should I uninstall/reinstall my software?

Hi,

Try to change the value of the advanced setting: UpdateSettings: Update Interval

Also you can disable the advanced setting: UpdateSettings: Update Interval. If you disable this last one, you need to do a manual update.

Update interval is set for "long": 600 000. I can't seem to be able to change this setting, no matter if I click the up or down arrow, or try to type, it won't let me do.

I found the setting "Update...Do not ask to install plugins" and I checked it, maybe it will stop nagging me?

to change the value 600,000; just do double click on that value > select the value > write the value that you want > do click on the arrow up

Update...Do not ask to install plugins also can help.
