First, thanks for the awesome software!!!! Now I can download all the ....ahem...linux distros that I want!


Currently i'm using a huawei e170 usb mobile broadband modem. The cool thing is tat everytime i reconnect, it gives me a new ip address. So when a rapidshare file is done, I disconnect/reconnect the modem, reset the next file and i bypass the 15min wait.

Then i found a tutorial on youtube **External links are only visible to Support Staff**here, which i used to create a working .bat file to disconnect/reconnect my modem.

Now I would like to make jdownloader execute tis .bat file every time a file finishes downloading, for a truly automated experience, but how do i do that?

In Configuration>Reconnection, there is 'External', 'Batch' and 'CLR Script' tabs. I tried finding tutorials, but i cant say i really understand them. Anyone can advice on what i should do next? And do i need to activate the Enable/Disable Reconnection icon at the top of the window?

nvm, found the way myself after a few tries. All i needed to do was to select the file from the 'External' tab, and make sure the Enable/Disable Reconnection icon was activated.

This program is perfect for ppl with 3G mobile broadband modems! Thank you developers!
