Hey. when running "java -jar JDownloader.jar -norestart" instead of getting the my.jdownloader dialog, i get this message:

tried multiple times. Since your tutorial says "repeat until JDownloader asks you to enter your MyJDownloader logins on console" is absolutely not userfriendly, maybe you could add an option at start like "-- my.jdownloader" or maybe a config file to fill in the credentials. Right now, is really ... not nice

I guess your java version is broken or something else happened.
Without the complete log I can't tell more.

Oh Gott... Sorry Jiaz. Ich habe meine Installation irgendwie versaubeutelt. Habe auch das Ticket AII-451-99597 eröffnet, weil ich dachte, es seien zwei komplett unterschiedliche Fehler. Dort habe ich die Logs geschickt.
Wie du sagtest, ich habe ein IBM-Java installiert (ich wusste nicht mal, dass es ein Java von IBM gibt (!)). Statt unter ubuntu "apt install default-jre" , habe ich nur "apt install jre" eingegeben. Das Resultat war dann wohl IBM's Java ?! Mysteriös. Naja, "apt remove ibm-java80-jre" und ein "apt install default-jre" haben das Problem gelöst.

Update: Nur dass ich leider immer noch nicht wieder zum my.jdownloader login aufgefordert werde. JDownloader.jar und tmp gelöscht .. :/ Ich denke eine etwas gezieltere Option für my.jdownloader wäre hilfreich.
Aber es liegt wohl auch nicht nur daran. JD beendet sofort nach dem start wieder.

Update2: So, habe jetzt den gesamten jd2 Ordner gelöscht und neu installiert. Funktioniert wieder alles :/ Sicherlich ein außergewöhnlicher Fall, aber evtl sollte der Installer prüfen, ob dieses komische IBM-Java-zeug installiert ist und einen Fehler auswerfen.
Vielen Dank auf jeden Fall noch einmal, dass du mich in die richtige Richtung gelenkt hast.

Ich werde eine IBM-Java Erkennung einbauen oder den Fehler beseitigen, sofern möglich.

Anhand der Logs kann ich sehen das es wohl Probleme mit den Rechten/Eigentümer gab. Deswegen hat ein Löschen und Neuversuch dann letztendlich zum Erfolg geführt.
