Default [EventScripter] Removing rar archives after extraction

Is there a way in jdownloader to select already downloaded and extracted packages and delete archives for that?

Because I forgot to select Delete archives from harddisk in the settings, now I have a lot of rar archives that should be removed

Thank you

Hi,

why don't you just always let JD auto-delete files after extraction?

To answer your question:
There is no "easy" way as we do not have any fearture for that BUT here are two way how you can achieve what you want:

1. For this to work, the extracted files still HAVE to be at the place where JD has initially extracted them to and NOT be renamed or moved!
Go to Settings --> Archive Extractor --> Set "Delete files after successful extraction" to "Delete files from harddisk"
Also set:
"If file exists ..." to "Skip the file"
Now you can let JD the already extracted files again --> JD will skip the extraction but delete the archive files anyways (just tested it to make sure I'm not talking trash).

2. You could maybe get an easier to use solution using an EventScripter script (ask in the linked thread).

Here a small archive Testfile:
