Default JD2 forgets proxy password

I use a proxy at Private Internet Access to download a second file at the same time from one service in addition to the first one I'm downloading over the VPN. But JD2 forgets the proxy password after every single download and I have to delete the password in the settings and re-enter it. Every single time, without fail. That's annoying and what's worse is that there's no way to access the proxy settings remotely via MyJdownloader, so I have to wait until I get home before I can re-enter the password.

Is it a Socks or HTTP Proxy? So you're saying JDownloader is forgetting the proxy logins after each download? Would be nice to contact us via support@jdownloader.org so we can look into this.

I don't know if it's a related issue, but now I am having massive problems downloading over the PIA proxy. It might take 50-100 attempts to start a download. It keeps saying "Server error 404," cycling through five links with a 5 minute wait on each. Then after a seemingly random number of attempts, the proxy gets a thumbs down in the settings and I have to reset that. All though this, the direct connection starts on the first try and continues to download.

I've also found that instead of re-entering the password, I can reset the proxy connection by unchecking it and checking it again in the settings.

Please provide debug logs. Settings-Advanced Settings-enable Log.debugmodeenabled
and restart JDownloader. When this happens again, please create log, see
https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs
and post shown logID here

Log does not contain a single error :(
I've added more debug information. Please wait for next core update (5 mins) and when it happens again, create new log

I wonder if the reason it didn't show any errors was because it didn't actually start any downloads. Jdownloader has been nonfunctional with alfafile ever since they changed to a different captcha system relatively recently.

For recaptchaV2 you have to enable Settings-Captcha-Dialog in Browser and install the browser extension, see https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=76515
