I was wondering if jdownloader saves/loges any download links in the background somewhere after I had deleted the files from my computer because for example I don't want to track it back?

For some reason I could not find any answers, so I appreciate if someone knows the answer.

In the JD Fodler is a backupfolder and a container folder. But simple deleting Files with Windows dont them for real. You have to overwrite the free space of the Harddisk for example with a tool like Eraser.

Better is you encrypt your whole system.
