Default Same Problem

Have the same problem, but only on one computer.

Details:

One PC Windows 7 JD2 with lan connection to router.
One PC Windows Xp JD2 with Wlan connection to router.

Exact same JD Version , exact same download list and config.

Win 7 version runs without any problem...
Win xp jd2 stops downloads from itself.
Happens after latest updates of jd2, think one of the last 5 updates.

After put back an backup of jd2 from 14.10. with cfg folder from today all running fine.

So i wait with old version until problem solved.

If you have an old version of jd2 put it back and copy your cfg folder in there....

Disabling Nap App solves the problem in my case. Thanks

For all with OSX: Right click at the Jdownloader App>Information>disable Nap App

Es liegt wohl am deaktivieren von App Nap für den JDownloader, denn seit dem ich das getan habe funktioniert er bei mir auch wieder.

MAC OS 10.9:
Just right-click on the JDownloader App and select "Get Info." Then check the box labeled "Prevent App Nap."

It would be cool if someone could create screenshots of this to help others. we will check out options to disable app nap for mac users.

but atm we have no idea how. So you have to do this manually

Didn't think that app nap solves the problem for real, cause i have a pc running with ja and the same problem, and there is no app nap func.
Maybe for Apple it works but not for pc.

Only the solution with old jd version works for me at moment...

Thanks. Any idea what the "app domain name" is?

We should find a way to add this info to the plist file or to use the command line:

defaults write <app domain name> NSAppSleepDisabled -bool YES

you could try org.appwork.jdownloader or org.jdownloader or org.jdownloader.jdownloader

Maybe someone even has time for a teamviewer session? That would be great!
Waiting for you in the chat

We know that there is another problem. We still are trying to reproduce the problem.

Same problem after the latest updates. I click to start the downloads and then after a couple of seconds of downloading everything stops automatically. (Windows XP)

Please fix as soon as possible!

Ok, disabled App Nap. Now downloads do not stop anymore. Nonetheless i never ever had that much crashes of JDL *ever as beens since last night, and today. And instead of stopping downloads it now crashes regularly.

Something is very wrong since that update last night. As i said, i have no clue, i am no tech expert and depend on others who have the knowledge.

Hi

I have a premium account on 1fichier.com, before I could paste 20 links and JD was downloading them all , now after each download it stops and I have to click on the blue arrow to continue downloading the files list

Do you know why ? and what I can do to that it works like before ?

thank you

It does look as if things are kinda sorted themselves with the latest update, as far as i can say from here. Downloads now work and do not stop as before. In so far it seems things are well again.

Any need to keep that app nap thing off anymore?

Thanks to anyone who has worked on this issue today and has, as it seems, solved the problem.

Looks like updates fixed it. The help button disappearing still there but if you click where it should be the drop-down menu shows.
Also have app nap shut off.
Thanks for the quick response!
