Kann man mit dem JDownloader eigentlich auch Torrent Dateien runterladen?
Und wenn ja, wie?

@usernamexxl: Standalone nein. Aber mittels zb Premiumize kannst du bei Premiumize dein Torrent hochladen und den Ordner/die Dateien dann mittels JDownloader herunterladen sobald der torrent Download fertig ist

Kommt drauf an wie deine Frage gemeint ist.
Du kannst mit JD ".torrent" Dateien (Direktlinks) herunterladen, aber eben nicht die Inhalte, auf die diese zeigen.

Kurz reingeworfen: Habt ihr da mal dran gedacht torrent zu unterstützen oder auch Usenet? Ich weis, es gibt Beiträge dazu, aber kann man kurz erläutern, warum man sich eventuell gegen Torrent und Usenet (*.nzb) entschieden hat?

Torrent Unterstützung wird nicht kommen.
Falls du eine Begründung dazu möchtest, lies bitte die existierenden Threads dazu durch.

Usenet:
Usenet wird unterstützt.
JDownloader kann .nzb Container einlesen und von diversen unterstützten Usenet Anbietern und Multihostern herunterladen.
