If I download a post on **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**, by right-clicking->"copy link" on a tile, the post is quickly parsed (seconds) and is ready for download.

If, on the other hand, I select (click-and-mark) many tiles at once by clicking and moving the mouse over the tiles, and then right-click->"copy" (not "copy-link" which will only process the tile under the mouse pointer) - then it takes what seems like forever while JD tries to get the link for the tile image (the thumbnail). These thumbnails are useless anyway, so it would be great if that part could be omitted when selecting this way.

It is also possible to select all posts by a user by copying the URL of the user's page. Then the thumbnails are not processed, and the parsing is done faster, but not as fast as selecting one tile at a time.

here is a link with a moderate number of tiles you can try (it has only ten tiles = 10 posts):

Selecting all tiles on the page with the mouse (click-mark), and right-click->copy: between 45 and 60 seconds per thumbnail to appear in the download list. When all thumbnails have been added, the contents of each tile (post) is added in a few seconds. Total time for ten tiles: almost 6 minutes (99% of this for adding thumbs).

By copying the URL from the browser address window: 1 minute 46 sec.

Note: The option of not downloading the thumbnails in the associated plugin only refer to the pictures inside each post relating to a video file, not the thumbnails that make up the tiles, so deselecting that will not help (actually the tile thumbs will be added, regardless if this option is checked or not, if the mark and copy method is used)

So my request would be to per default not parse the thumbnails of the tiles (I doubt that anyone would want them - but maybe just in case add an option in the pluging to allow that).

@cstern: Plugin has a 3 second request limit, meaning 1 request every 3 seconds to avoid crawl/bot detection.

I have to look deeper into this as it looks like it takes longer than 3 secs

OK. But it seems only to be a problem when using the mark and copy method(?)

@cstern: I did some tests and with next plugin update, the request interval is reduced to 1.5 secs (from previously 3 secs) -> half the time
The request limit is only set by plugin when adding profiles/albums. adding direct links directly will not cause any request limit to be set.

Thanks - much improved!

In the "Mark and Copy" method, the first part of getting links (getting links to the tiles) take a long time (but much shorter now). If it was possible to skip the tiles and only get links for the album contents, it could maybe be even faster. Of course I don't know if it is possible at all.
