Default Doubts about the JDownloader Android APP and Captchas

Hello, I am trying to download some files, but I get this message:

To solve this kind of captcha, you have to use either the Android app via 'my.jdownloader', or our My.JDownloader browser extension. (Please note: a My.JDownloader is NOT required!)

I have installed the APP in my phone, but... I don't know very well the process to connect the JDownloader 2 from my desktop computer with the APP of my Phone?

Please, could you tell me how may I do this?
Should I need an account with a password?
Where should I register?
Then how may I introduce that information inside JDownloader 2 ?

for anything to work over remote control you need a my.jdownloader.org user:password. make an account, place it in JD, install the app on your android device, place in your user:pass and done.

hello, don't work. I did all you said, and JDownloader connects perfectly my.jdownloader.org, first I registered my user and password at my.jdownloader.org, I confirmed my registration... then I connected JDownloader going to Settings... My.JDownloader... there I introduced my email and password, everything is fine, it connects...
but the Android app fails... I introduce my email and password and don't connect, it says invalid email address...
I am using gmail...
Don't understand why, because everything is working fine, except with the app?
Any idea about why is this happening?
cheers

please wait for mrc to respond. I can't seem to fault the Android app myself. Only downside with captcha is the push notifications are not fast enough though that's not App issue, more so googles.

mrc is not a what, its a person. he develops andriod app, my.jdownloader and the api.jdownloader

I logged in just fine, so maybe password is incorrect?
consider changing the password to see if that helps.

hi, first of all make sure you are correctly using @gmail.com or @googlemail.com (the one you used for registration is the correct variant). then make sure your keyboard does not add whitespaces to your password. E.g. if your password is "TestPassword" some keyboards automatically add whitespaces after words so you end up with "Test Password ". also check if you correctly use uppercase / lowercase letters for the password.
if that all didn't help, please write a short mail to support@jdownloader.org, we'll check what's happening!

You can reset your password by trying to login at https://my.jdownloader.org with wrong password and then follow the shown instructions
Don't forget to change password in JDownloader as well
