Default JD2 broke after recent update

Startup Error:
An error has occurred during startup:

I have never edited any files manually in the folder. Just randomly decided to kill itself after closing it for the night before turning off my PC.

EDIT: Somehow update broke and never downloaded a new JDownloader.jar. Un-naming JDownloader.jar.backup.1 or w/e fixed it booting, then re-updated.
SOLVED

EDIT2: Have had the same JD2 folder since 2013. Did a clean install on a diff folder, copied /cfg, made it a lot faster!

Default

No need to download anything. This can happen when something prevents update to finish in very critical part when installing/writing the new JDownloader.jar file.
Just rename JDownloader.jar.backup.1 back to JDownloader.jar and delete the update and tmp folder and the file Core.jar and start JDownloader. It will then update itself to latest available version.

Glad you could fix this by yourself!
