Default "Out of memory" messages

After changing advanced settings > max. write buffer to e.g. 8000, downloader issues "out of memory" messages. Resetting to 2000 and resuming works ok then.

i have 3 gb ram and 2 gb is available. but jd2 says out of memory when it is set higher than 16000 (16 small megabyte) with 1 download and connection. 12 megabyte is my max speed per second.

my dream is that jd has a max ram usage value and stores everything into ram till dl is finished or if its too big to fit in ram. something like a ringbuffer timeshift in dvb applications for all data jd is working with.

there are people with 64gb and more out there but 1-2gb are used during the whole time they use their machine.

everyhing as optional feature of course.

Then maybe you're starting JD with the wrong parameters...
