I can not have an address with the dynamic :
modem:
Terayon TJ 700x.

I have no router

disconnecting the modem does not give me a new IP

I live in Belgium on F.A.I. is VOO.be

What method should I use ...

you must know if your provider of internet connectivity use static or dinamic ip addressing.
Try to power off you modem and disconnect the telephone line from modem for a while...20-30 minutes.

Then reconnect, make this 2 - 3 times : if your IP is always the same you have no chance to use the trick of changing your ip for bypassing download limits.

I find the solution !
"just restart the pc"
to get a new IP. Here are the steps:


To all of you, here for those who have an IP address that does not change
I propose to go through the registry to have an address
different each time you turn on your PC

1. Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\network card
   
   
2. Where [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\{05F7698E-6FB4-4EFO-8B7E-351191BDECC6}\Parameters\Tcpip
   
   
3. Then you key in this change :
   IPAddress=10.0.0.55 (By default this value is : 0.0.0.0)
   
   
   
4. IPAutoconfigurationAddress=0.0.0.0 (By default this value is : 0.0.0.0)
   
   
5. IPAutoconfigurationMask=255.255.255.0
   (By default this value is : 255.255.0.0)
   

do not forget to restart the pc
disconnect the modem is not enough

a vous tous, voila pour ceux qui ont une adresse IP qui ne change pas
je le propose de passer par le registre pour avoir ainsi une adresse
différent a chaque fois que vous allumer votre PC

3. Puis dans cette clé vous modifier

Redémarrer le Pc
déconnecter le modem ne suffit pas
