Default 7zip extract problem

JD2 doesn't extract
link
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
The file a is a pw protected .7z file, pw is in the pw list.
The Archive(s) context menu item is grey.
Extraction from main menu - tools - extract files also does not work.
I can't extract here a simple ad hoc created .7z file, the "extract to" window doesn't appear.
I can extract zip, rar files.

I can extract these files manually.

Extract works well with the update, however as I sense it's much slower than it was. The extract time (without password cracking) was ~25 sec -archive is 17 MiB, contains six files. Manual extract time is ~3 sec.

If I make a zip from these files, JD extracted it less then 3 sec (no password).

Hm, I felt bad that it was faster - in Nightly I couldn't extract with password, so I re-archived the files without password, and the extraction time was about the same, 23 sec.
But it would be great to speed up.

its some kind of bug,I can see a lot of strange stuff going on in debugger. I'm sure we can speedup the extraction again

Hm, raztoki, this is an old thread, I didn't encounter since then a 7z link, and I forgot this already - the original link

lives, and there's no difference in extract time, more then 20 sec, in the same way as it was. No change.

Edit:
Did You test the link ?

Edit2:

Oh, I see http://svn.jdownloader.org/issues/5685 :

" Updated by jiaz 7 days ago

Status changed from New to Feedback

still slow? could be same bug (downloadwatchdog loop eating 100% cpu) that I've fixed recently"

Sorry, I can't follow automatically a bug .

"Updated by jiaz about 3 hours ago

Status changed from Feedback to Closed
Resolution set to Can't reproduce"

Edit3:

I do not see how this is [Solved]

sent

Edit:

Jiaz replied in the support ticket :

"...It's because 7Zip archives *special* and the unpacking is a little more complex than other archive types. I've already began to update JD to handle 7z different but until all changes are done, it will still be slow
will work on this one in my free time"

Thanks

Can it be that this problem is back?

Extracting *.7z files is actually slow as hell (again).

Please try out the latest public testing version, https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=71069
Actual the 7zip slow extraction never got fixed (because it required newer version of the library, now public testing) but the possible crashes got fixed.
