A site I use is now encoding their links like the following actual example:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff**

JD2 does not handle these (can't get them from the clipboard).

I think this is related to this in a statement at the top of each page on this site:

Please note that the SATDL site is set up and managed by our team...

Following the above example link shows it does indeed go through satdl.com.

There's another thread I found about this on the JD2 site where the reply is:

Hi,
this is not a bug.
1. protected.to is supported via plugin.
2. The website where protected.to redirects to ("satdl.com") is not supported via plugin.
If you want a plugin for satdl.com to be added, open a new thread in this subforum.
Be sure to provide un-crypted satdl.com example URLs in the form of "satdl.com/download/123456".

I am not sure how to supply the request for the un-encrypted satdl.com link since it goes by too fast to capture it. I hope just supplying an original link as an example is sufficient.

The site that is doing this is **External links are only visible to Support Staff**rlsbb.cc so plenty of examples are available for any link that is not one of their supported (sponsored?) media sites.

As requested above, since I can't find a formal request for satdl.com support, this post is for that satdl.com support. I think (hope) I am posting in the appropriate forum.

If it's not feasible so be it. Never hurts to ask!

Update to previous post.

I figured out how to capture the satdl.com redirect link (through the browser history). So for the example link I posted above it causes a redirect to:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff**

It was good for one day but I guess someone didn't like that so the redirect fails again as before. So here's a new redirect.protected.to example:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

That in turn goes to,

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Not sure what changed. All I know is JD2 doesn't detect the clipboard with the redirect.protected.to.

The site where this is happening is **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**. But that day after I reported that they appeared to have changed the redirect's they removed it entirely. So at the moment there's no redirects and thus no problems.

The link you posted in reply #6 leads to a page with error 404.
I can't find any bugs in our plugins' logic for now.
