Default Rapidgator download issues, dl restarts

As of this evening, all my RG downloads will get to about 20-30% then stop and restart from beginning.

This happens over and over again, and downloads never complete.

Anyone else have this happen ?

Same here, but it does the same thing even when I try downloading the file in a browser. The issue is probably on their side.

Well downloading using the browser works, but only at ~40KB/s even though I'm logged in to my premium account.

JD still doesn't.

if issues happen within browser and jd, then typically its a hoster issue.

To add that some files of less than 400 MB approx are now and then possible to be downloaded- not always, but those bigger, restart again and again. Seems like the JDowloader were uncapable to keep the parts of the files and join them together to terminate the download ?
Can any of Download managers check that ?

Default jDownloader 2 keeps restarting download after ~1-2 % using RG premium

Hello

Just had this problem starting yesterday, when I start one or more downloads, they start as usual, but after about 1-2 % they stop, reset to 0 % and restart.

I'm using rapidgator premium. I've tried turning Windows Firewall and Defender off, with no effect.

Log file:
log: 01.10.16 16.08.48 <--> 01.10.16 16.05.02 jdlog://1623581887641/

Any help would be much appreciated

I'm having the same issues, same timeline. Really frustrating. Download as a premium RG user with my browser is possible and completes but is far less efficient in terms of download time. I'm pretty sure it's specific to JDownloader and how it connects to RG.

Yes I would say that this issue would have to do with JD rather than RG

Anyone verify this by trying another DL manager IDM for example ?

Ok, so I just found a working solution.

I first tried capping speed but that didnt work.

Then I looked at chunks pr download. Usually have JD set up with 6 chunks for each DL, reduced it to 1, and a 600+ mb dl worked perfectly. This also reduces speed somewhat but DL ease trumps the reduced speed.

Saw that this issue has been tagged with " developer feedback required " To help developer, please notice I use Karspersky antivirus- No idea whether that may cause the trouble, but I've been using it since several months with no problem affecting the kind of issue being reported. Thanks for your urgent help in advance

Reducing chunks works perfectly here.

Have successfully downloaded files between 600mb - 2gb without any problems.

Edit: 2 and 3 chunks also working.

Started to download same files from same source and same size, and Uploaded works great without problem with 20 chunks per DL

Sent message to RG help to indicate that and hurry up to sort out if they do not want to lose customers

Default Rapidgator issues

As of Saturday 1-10-16 i've been have real issues with my rapidgator account downloads they constantly stop start and just loop constantly while only downloading a fraction of the data. Everything seems to be okay as I can download files via my browser without any issues.
I'm running the most recent version of jdownloader 2
If anyone has a fix please let me know.

Exactly the same problem here. Tried deleting the rapidgator account & re entering. Downloads keep stopping and starting since 1/10/16.

Setting chunks to 1 worked for me. Downloads are slow, but steady.

Happy to see others can benefit from this fix.

As mentioned I also get stable dl With 3 chunks, have not tried 4 or 5.

I want to thank whoever discovered the size of "chunks" being the issue in the constant reloading of downloads. I reduced mine and now it seems to be working the way it used to!
