When creating bug reports I noticed that I find my hosting credentials stored in plain text in the log files which makes me a bit wary to share them.

For example

That is not entirely avoidable.
Here are your options:
1. Disable debug mode as long as you do not need it.
2. Only share logs with us. You can also censor them before uploading them to our servers. All of this is explained here.
