Default Overlapping subtitle

Why the files I get are always overlapping ? For instance:
1
00:00:05,750 --> 00:00:08,718
sharma celle d'un professionnel

2
00:00:07,830 --> 00:00:11,370
enseignant

As you can see, from 07,830 to 8,718 both subtitles will be on.

new line, one fades away before the other?
just how the subtitles are created by machine or human

you don't have to do anything, your media player either supports subtitle format(s) or it doesn't. As in it should just work out of the box.

each new timestamp is either a new line or multiple new lines, but it should conform with its formatting.

You both are right The solution is very simple

I'm 99,9999% sure that in browser you use/switch to human translated subtitle but downloaded the automatic created subtitle and that's why they are different Please pay attention to subtitle format/source

Perhaps I didn't put the problem properly.
I have no problem when I watch any file on YouTube with the subtiles on, they apperar in due time, but if I download the subtiles I get:

2
00:00:05,480 --> 00:00:11,460
sharmarke le don professionnels de la

3
00:00:07,918 --> 00:00:13,048
cpg je comprends que la majorité de vos

4
00:00:11,460 --> 00:00:15,630
coups manqués peuvent se résumer par

as you can see, one line starts before the previous finish. If I try to see it, with any player, it's really hard, as there are 2 lines at the same time.
I can solve this if I fix the time myself, then I have.
Thanks for your interest.

2
00:00:05,480 --> 00:00:07,918

cpg je comprends que la majorité de vos

4

and then I see it with subtiles with any player.

Did you check the source of the subtitle? In browser it might be the human/manual translated one but in JDownloader you might have selected the automatic one!
In doubt, please provide example links

You can rightclick the link and change subtitle. This video only contains automatic created subtitle and in browser it also shows two lines. I don't understand what the problem is?
Maybe you can provide screenshots of what it looks like in browser and video player?

You are right. I've never watched the video with subtitles, as I don' need them, but when I downloaded the subtitles I saw the overlapping, and didn't realice that when this happen, the down line is pushed up.
Pardon. Pardon
