Feature request: Option to treat "File Already Exists" as "Finished"
I use Jdownloader 2 Beta and use a lot of "mirrored" files. When I see "An error has occured" I have to manually check every failure to see if it is "File Already Exists" and if so remove them manually. This take a lot of time and effort for me.
I would appreciate an option in "Advanced Settings" to make JDownloader treat that as a "Finished" so that I can remove them with a click of the "Delete Finished" button. I cannot simply delete all failed links, as other errors generally require resuming the download as my connection is not reliable. I think my problem is likely faced by other people as well and they would also benefit from an option to treat "File Already Exists" as "Finished" while the feature would not change behavior for those who do not explicitly enable the feature. |

Already existing files are actually not "finished" because JD didn't download them.
They either existed before or were downloaded by a mirror. We're currently working on that behaviour... GreeZ psp

I understand the current method of handling the file. I just think that giving the option to treat it as Finished would be useful to certain power users like myself. Nothing that I've mentioned would impair the current usage of Jdownloader. It would only save those of us running into this problem who specifically enable the feature from manually examining every error case.
If there is another idea on dealing with this behavior though, I'd love to hear what it is so I can see if it will work in my use case. |

I would suggest there shouldnt be any "File Already Exists" marking for mirror that is being download. Instead, when our max download more than >1, if it detect one of the mirror is being download, it leave as it is without mark grey on the mirror or as "File Already Exist" and looking for other download that does not have mirror downloading. This should solve the all other mirror being marked as file exist but yet none of the file being successfully downloaded.
I've to resume/reset all mirrors again everytime the first mirror failed to download due to technical issue. All other mirrors were being "greyed" and unable to resume. It should behave just like it skip a download file as if only one rapidshare can be download. Force download wouldnt really force it. Therefore, if the File A mirror 1 failed half way, still other mirrors 2,3,4 & 5 available to download. It only mark grey when one of the mirror successfully downloaded. |

EDIT
Advanced settings -> "GeneralSettings: On Skip Due To Already Exists Action" -> Will be available after the next update!

Thanks! The feature works as I'd expect and the new update saves me a ton of time.
