Default Right-Click Contexy Menu

Hey folks

I was wondering if there is a way to change/customize the context menus when you right click on a file. I just recently updated to the current version and I notices the new context menus are poorly organized.

For example the main menu has the old version I was using had a delete menu.
Delete > Delete from List -
> Delete from List and Disk -

The new menu has the "Delete from List" in the main menu but if you want the other option you have to go down to more then select "Delete from List and Disk"

I was hoping there is a file you can edit to move them around like you can with firefox or chrome.

nope they are hard coded, no user preferences. Our next major version has different menu structure again o_O. Think there is some talk about making menus have some type of popularity feature. More you use a feature it will come out of submenu, though I'm not entirely sure that's going to happen either.

That's ridiculous!! who constantly changes the menus in thier software without allowing for customization or at the very least the option to keep it like it was.

Context menus are the same just the location might be slightly different. All the context menus have always been hard coded, along with all of JD GUI. I don't know of m?any programs that allow you to custom design context menus. Toolbar layouts are as close as you get to customisation in most programs.

Screen shots of linkgrabbers new context menu, download context menus still need to be completed.

maybe we will add menu customisation in future, but at the moment we are working on our next major release. once we have free time or someone wants to help, this feature can be included
