Default 'Waiting for new IP' error.

Every download I make automatically gets put on 'waiting for new IP' with the first one on a wait time. The thing is, I didn't even download before this so I don't know why this is happening.

It's happening with fileserve, megaupload and wupload. I haven't tried with any others so it might just be happening to everything. I can download from my browser perfectly fine. All downloads on JDownloader just keep getting this error though.

I've uninstalled, reinstalled and still nothing. Any help?

A few users are experiencing this if you bothered to search the forum prior to making duplicate threads in multiple sections. It's probably something todo with your location firewall/iwf internet filter, proxy (transparent) related issues. Maybe upload your logs + give us more info to go on.

upload your log http://jdownloader.org/knowledge/wik...reate-a-jd-log , if you restart jdownloader you will need to invoke some errors (start download/linkchecker) as the log will cleared. Please don't forget to give me the pastebin url, allowing me address the problem

This time I got some 'disconnect' and 'Holster' problem. I kept resetting to try and get it to work.

Your ISP is using (transparent) proxy ??
Via: 1.1 x.bb.sky.com:3128 (squid/2.7.STABLE3)

Some times proxy use changes the format of GET/POST so it can lead to bad downloads.
Some of the major hosters block use of proxies from free users.
Some UK ISPs filter the internet also

you say you can download in browser but cannot in jdownloader
are you premium?
because it would be very strange that browser works but jd reports waiting time.
did you try with the same file/hoster ?

I recommend to :-

1) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

2) Reduce the Max. Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. Reset the affected links.

Hi,

Even i am facing this problem "No internet Connection" even when i am connected to the internet and am accessing other sites.

Also, i am facing another problem.
suppose the link is:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
when i paste this link in the web broswer - it doesnt load.
however when i put "**External links are only visible to Support Staff** (if you notice i removed the www. part), then the link loads up.

Am i able to open the download in the web browser?
no - once i paste the link, the countdown starts. but then when it comes down to 0, there is no "download" button that comes.

I am facing this problem with all the hosters - megaupload, rapidshare, etc....

Please tell me what is to be done from my side.
Is there any other information that you require?

jd.http.Browser$BrowserException: ipcheck0.jdownloader.org
and many others
dns issues or you need to use a proxy which you does not or something blocks java

try suggested opendns first

dns is governed network interface within windows (tcp/ip), or if your using 3rd party software for say usb modems it could also be in that software.

taken screen shots of how to find it in xp, vista/seven is very similar only difference is finding it as they have changed network layout.

If you want all devices in your local network to use opendns, read "Configuration for router" ("**External links are only visible to Support Staff**) and set your devices/computers to obtain an IP and DNS server address automatically.

Exclamation having similar problem, couldn't find parent thread

i string searched "waiting for new IP," this thread came back with the most replies, so here I am.

realized today that i only suffer with this problem on my home network (Cox Communications, running Cox provided McAfee). worked fine on my university network, downloaded at nice speed until disconnect at the end of class.

i have allowed permission for all instances of java and jdownloader in the "allowed programs," manually reset the IP via windows command prompt (ipconfig/release and renew), but nothing seems to solve the issue.

i've never sent error logs, need instruction to go about that.

thanks

Default ugraded to premium

purchased a premium subscription to filepost, downloaded from another service (rapidshare) without problem. premium subscription worked great from yesterday morning until late last night. was under the impression that the premium acct allows for unlimited downloading until the expiration date, now the log indicates i have reached my "download quota."

at this point, once again "waiting for new IP"

filepost has a download quota, even for their premium accounts.
