If you are talking about "multiup.io":
I've tested it with a random example URL found via Google and it worked fine here.
I noticed that google has placed a malware warning on that domain so maybe some anti virus applications such as Norton are also blocking requests to that domain which would be a possible explanation as to why it fails for you.

Please provide example URLs and a log.

thanks for replying. currently not at home but i have to correct myself:

it is actually multiupload.io behind clicksfly.com protector


what will happen is the clicksfly.com will get decrypted, i enter captcha but instead of getting the multiupload.io captcha processed (as it used to be) linkgrabber just stops :/

manually adding the absolute multiupload.io link path does not work either


it's on debian running headless, latest update, no norton nonsense installed though

tested on a windows machine w gui installation same problem. multiupload.io link will not get crawled :/

would it be possible as a workaround to have a webbrowser open once crawling comes to the point where it reaches multiup?

clickfly/asia + multiup is pure cancer. the former (clickfly) jdownloader decrypts and is a pita to do via browser while the latter is only a minor annoyance

Yes this is how we're also doing it with other "interactive" captchas, see:

It's just that the demand for this captcha type isn't that high yet and also we do not have the time to implement it.
However, JD is open source so you are free to join the team, see:

Alternatively you may want to ask multiup.io to switch to another captcha or ask the people who are using multiup.io for uploading files to use another service instead.

coding something like that is way beyond my skills, as much as i'd like to contribute.

i have had a look at the advanced settings. The whitelist feature documentation strongly recommends to use the captcha settings to adjust browser behaviour for certain hosters if i understood correctly. so i tried adding multiup.io to the whitelist like this:

but that didn't work :/

Okay again slash to make it absolutely clear:
The captcha which multiup.io is using is not supported by JDownloader.

JD will not be able to automatically process such links until they either switch back to a captcha we support or we add support for captcha of type "Cloudflare Turnstile".

There is nothing you can do in the settings to make "Cloudflare Turnstile" captchas work in JDownloader.

oh sorry then i misunderstood.

i thought i could somehow influence link grabber behaviour to just open a browser window once the crawling process reaches multiup (if the actual links are behind multiple url obfuscators)

The links have not been recognized for a few days now. But I think it was working before. Now it says "Cloudflare blocked" in the JD. Can anything be done?

For some reason it seems to have grabbed a BUNCH of twitter stuff

I was forced to manually add the link and it seems to be stuck crawling for downloads even after 5 mins

Adding to the already existing Cloudflare problems, multiup.io has now changed their URL format which is why JD isn't even trying.
Fixing that doesn't make any sense at this moment as the links would fail due to Cloudflare anyways.

Update:
Indeed Cloudflare was not the problem here so I've added support for "project" links.

While that "project" link is not supported, you can just open that in your browser and copy the "/download/..." links. If those work fine for you, you are currently not running into issues with Cloudflare for multiup.io links.

Such "project" links will be supported via next update.

Yeah I had to do that to snag the individual short links which do seem to have worked for me.
