No Option for Install Directory During Install
Thank you for providing JDownloader. I have been a user for years and I’m still finding new uses for this wonderful program.
I just uninstalled JDownloader to see if I could fix an issue that I’ve been having with the download list not saving between program restarts. I downloaded the latest version of the install (tried both the web and full install) and started the install wizard. I have a specific drive that I use of installs and as the wizard kept going I expected to see the option to change the install directory. To my surprise, the option was never given! Is this by design or a bug? I understand you want to make installing easier but this is just not acceptable. I would appreciate any feedback and a possible fix? If there is no other option I guess I will have to download the source and learn Java before I can use JDownloader again Last edited by Jiaz; 07.02.2012 at 08:50. |

Third pic in here shows that install directory can be changed.
You can also download the MultiOS zip and unzip it anywhere you like.

I did take a look at that post before creating my question and the screens do not match the installer that I have. Perhaps the install wizard was upgraded since that post?
I can post screens from what I see if needed. |

Changed again? Oh boy... need to check it.
Wait for developer's feedback or use multios zip.

I kinda feel special being the first to report this bug. Thanks for all of your hard work to make JDownloader so great.
I installed the MultiOS files and it is working fine for me. If you need help visualizing what I saw: |
