i have a few google drive folder links that im trying to download, the problem is that those folders are shortcut links to other public google drive folders.

an example of one of the links is **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

when i try downloading the link it says "Download not allowed"

Your folder contains "special folder shortcuts".
Do the following after you've received the next update:
1. Delete all added GDrive items which displayed this error.
2. Re-Add the URL you posted in your first post.
JD should now ne able to crawl all items.

- Which files exactly are missing (provide at least one filename)
- Provide a link to at least one file which is missing (a file link, not a folder link)
- Logs

I found out where the problem is but it looks like it will take some more time to fix this.
Even if it sounds strange - the problem is the distinction between a folder and a file item.
Currently, those file-shortcuts get added as folders which is wrong and results in them being added as offline.

Google Drive plugin changelog:
- correctly implemented handling for Google Drive shortcuts RE forum 87551
- GDrive APIs can also return sha256 file hashes, prefer them over md5
- Do not parse- and set FileHash in plugin itself as this is done in oldRAFDownload
- API mode: fixed missing filenames for Google Documents
- fixed download of single file links when they turn out to be shortcuts
- small refactoring
- GoogleConfig: deleted setting "Debug: Website mode: Skip extended linkcheck for google documents (enable = can speed up linkcheck)?"

Hello, I still have some issue with plugin.

For example some files will have wrong extension, png and mp4 but become zip when add to linkgrabber and download list.

Example links are:

From observe it mostly files that have shortcut arrow. I have upload logs for analyze.

Fyi:
Indeed this was a small regression since I had refactored the filename- and download handling for Google Documents but at one place I mistakenly left a hint like "looks like a document" so the default file extension for documents, dot txt got applied for other items as well.

Hello but still have problem with google drive. Video and image file in linkgrabber become zip file, some old files first download were video become zip again.

When add to download error shown below

How to fix existing wrongly tagged .zip items after the update:
- Add a Google Drive API key
- or: Select them -> Reset
- or: Remove them and re-add them
