There is another problem, if there is no overlying archive and you just add a link to a direct video like this:

bunkrr.su/v/<str>

The video name will be renamed to the <str> in the url once it is added to the download category even if the name was the right one in the crawler. It will also remove the file extension name. This will also happen to links from an archive that worked before and didn't have there name changed. If you just click on one video in the archive and add only the selected one to JDownloader. Once it is added to Downloads the name will change again.

Random link example:

Hi everyone,

For several days I've been having some problems downloading with Jdownloader from Bunkr, am I the only one with this problem or is it widespread?
Is there a fix for this problem?

I don't know if I'm the only one but at this moment Jdownloader is unable to start with the downloads, it stops loading without downloading anything. I tried disabling the firewall but the situation doesn't change

Most files are failing to download. I´m getting a "Blocked by DDoS-Guard (Bunkrr.la)" error.

I'm having the same problem as the previous post. Getting "Blocked by DDoS-GUARD" error message on most link grabs. If a link does appear to load and a download is attempted the same error "Blocked by DDoS-GUARD" appears. Have attempted loading links different ways but get the same results.

This somewhat works with another downloader if the user-agent changed and simultaneous downloads are limited to one. Is there a way to change the user-agent for bunkrr in JD?

edit 1: no longer works in the other downloader, so I'm not sure what JD needs to do to fix this (if anything). The **External links are only visible to Support Staff**Bunkr status page says that certain servers are limited to 1 download per user, but even limiting to 1 download fails in JD right now.

edit 2: direct downloading in a browser still works via direct file links, so I still think there's something related to user-agents or something that can be modified to help the issue.

edit 3: downloading in JD works sometimes now. I don't know if Bunkr had some increased ddos settings for a while or what, but it seems to work sporadically.

I agree with mjolnir870...I really wish I could modify the user agent when hitting bunkrr.su. They have changed something again, last week certain vpns could get it to run, now after literally 20-30 different vpns, JD set to 1 download and 1 chunk and only one file in the downloader it gets DDOS-Guard error.

I'm not saying that this doesn't help but I'm just repeating myself:
It is working fine here without any extra modifications.

Due to internal circumstances I'm unable to modify plugin configurations at this moment so you will need to wait an unknown amount of time until this is possible.

I'm correcting my last post:
Now I'm running into the same problem.
In fact I quickly got my IP banned by DDoS-Guard and all VPNs I got look to be already banned by them.
I still doubt that a simple custom user-agent setting would help a lot. DDoS-Guard is evaluating way more factors than just the User-Agent. More information about this topic:

The question here really is if they are using DDoS-Guard mainly as a DDoS-Protection or if the admins behind the bunkr project are also using it to purposely block tools like JDownloader.

If they are not against tools like JDownloader we could work out a way together how JDownloader can bypass DDoS-Guard while their DDoS protection can stay in place.

Also - are other tools also affected by these problems? For example:

I appreciate your response and I agree with it. To be honest I am going to close JD for three or so days here because of Christmas and see if the IP bans / DDos expire. Obviously many people use the same paid VPNs and these will get blocked. I dont want to add to the problem. So time may relieve the problem in a few days and some of my ip's might come back around.

I do also see that IDM cannot seem to get thru DDos either :(

Sure it doesn't.
The developers would need to either implement processing of all the java script of DDoS-Guard or even use a real browser to process it.
That is a major effort which is also the reason why we are not doing it.

If the developers of Bunkr are open for allowing 3rd party downloaders they might want to provide an API for downloading.
It could be worth asking their support.

If they rely on advertisements to keep the website running they will not be interested though.

I tried Jules-WinnfieldX/CyberDropDownloader a few days ago and it didn't work either.

My experience the last few days has been that downloading will work in JD for an hour or two, and then DDoS-Guard will reject all downloads. If I stop downloading for a few hours and then restart, it will work again. So for now, that's what I'm doing.

They are also in the middle of maintenance on one server, so right now is probably not the best time to test things.

As long as you're not blocked by DDoS-Guard you should be able to download again.

So I am also running in to this but even after waiting over 12 hours still get the DDoS spam through jdownloader. Manual downloads work through Bunkr though.

I think Bunkr has changed their DDoS settings recently while they make changes to fix slow video streams. There's nothing you can do but wait until they finish their fixes and hopefully go back to their normal settings.

for the last 48 hours jd2 can't crawl for bunkrr.su links and generate them correctly, also links already in the download list gives message "blocked by DDoS-Guard" when starting the download.

1. JD linkcrawls the size as 202.82 KiB
2. The site labels the file as 289.5 KiB
3. When JD downloads the file, the size changes to 289.5 KiB and then back to 202.82 KiB, then fails
4. If I download the file manually with my browser, it is 202.82 KiB

So I think the size label on the site is wrong, and JD is pulling that? Maybe it is triggering the placeholder detection where downloads are rejected if the size is too different?

I've lowered the "maintenance detection" to 50% of the filesize:
If an expected file-size is known and the final file is less than 50% of the expected file-size, the error "File is too small: File under maintenance?" will be displayed.

If this still gets triggered falsely I will need to introduce further changes to it.

As explained before, you can work around such problems at any time by changing the domain inside your URLs before adding them to JD e.g. replace "bunkr.sk" but a domain which our plugin knows and still works e.g. "bunkrr.su".

I've just added the domain bunkr.sk.
bunkrr.su will still stay the main plugin domain for now since it is still working.

I'm getting a blocked by cloudfire site: bunkrr.su error on all bunkr links.

Working fine for me. Your ip address may be rate limited for now.

A couple other minor issues:
1) Bunkr has changed/added the domain again, to bunkr.si. Downloads still work fine for now but perhaps they'll stop forwarding.
2) Bunkr has a bunch of extra domains used as file cdns (media, black, ac...). The "site" cdn is completely non-functional, even in browsers. Any file added with "site" will fail to download, although it gets added to linkgrabber without any warning. The bunkr plugin should replace "site" with one of the other cdn domains.

EDIT: Ignore 2, kind of. The issue with "site" is because it's not working with the VPN proxy I'm using. But JD should still try other TLDs instead of marking the proxy as not working, which is what it does now.

1. We already updated our plugin accordingly last week.
As long as "bunkrr.su" is still working, there is no need for us to change the internal plugin main-domain.

2. Our plugin already tries to fix such broken CDNs/domains. If you find a case where it fails, please provide example URLs and a log.

Here is a log of JD failing to download files from the "site" TLD when the proxy can't reach it, even though other TLDs like "media" or "ac" are reachable. The proxies end up marked as offline.
