Default New to Jdownloader, I'm completely stuck getting downloads working.

Hi Everyone,

I'm using JDownloader for the first time, and I'm completely stuck.
Are there any tutorials/walkthroughs?

I've installed Jdownloader on MAcOS Big Sur

I've pasted the URL I'm trying to download files from a website, I've pasted that URL into downloader, and clicked the All downloads button.

3 files are displayed (which have nothing to do with what I'm looking for) but the directories and files I'm after are not shown.

I've looked through this page for helphttps://jdownloader.org/knowledge/index
but there is nothing useful there from what I can see.

Would someone give me some pointers how to download these directories (and files in the directories) ?

Thank you

Hi,
in that case, there is no plugin for that specific website so downloading all of those subdirectories automatically is not possible.
You will need to work with this:
https://support.jdownloader.org/de/k...orted-websites

Additionally, the extension of those files (.pch) is not supported out of the box so you will either need to create a DIRECTHTTP rule to be able to add them or add "direct http: / /" (without spaces) as a prefix before each of those links to be able to add them.
More info:
https://support.jdownloader.org/de/k...kcrawler-rules
and more specifically:
https://support.jdownloader.org/de/k...ple-directhttp

Apart from this - if a website is plugin-supported and/or a file-extension inside a generic URL is known (e.g. .mp4) it is much easier to add and download those links.
