Hey,

a)
you´re right with point a but i think this is the behaviour of the hoster. In fact files hosted on rapidshare are checked immediately, jD needs more time for other hosters to check files.

b)
This seems to be a problem in your antivir webguard or firewall. Do you have something like that?
Please allow the URL of netload (netload.in) in your webguard and if possible allow it in your firewall too.

am using free AVG antivirus.
Been using netload all the while with no problem. Problem just started since yesterday. Dont think its due to antivirus though.

And I have no problem downloading from rapidshare. only netload giving me problem.

Does your AVG have webscanner/http-scanner ?
Please try to disable them and then try to download again.
Maybe it helps;) Had the same problems with rapidshare some weeks ago.

Default I too am having problems

At first it stopped downloading and had "connecting" in the status field of the same file for at least an hour. then I was able to download one file. Now it says connecting for a few seconds, and then says temporarily unavailable and keeps resetting itself. Either that or it labels the file not found, when I know it is good.

I have a dr's appt, will post more info latter if I can.

Dear psprockerscene,

I did read all the current posts about the recent problem with netload.in. I updated exactly 18 minutes after the the file was reconfigured. That was yesterday or the day before. However I was still having problems as described early this morning until about twelve o'clock this afternoon eastern us time. I tried updating today with the message "no updates available."

Somehow, while I was gone to the doctor's appt., the problem seems to have cleared up, at least for the time being. My hypothesis that it was a plugin problem (due mostly to the length of time it took to get fixed) was wrong. It obviously was a server problem.

However, I did not realize the member who started this thread did not know about the update.

In other words, just because you have a grand total of over 4,000 posts please do not assume that other members have not researched the problem.

I really DO appreciate all the contributors who make this program and support thread possible. You ALL do a great job.

Have a great day!
