Jdownloader for mac wont start
i am using jDownloader_Java_1_5 on mac os x 10.6.2.
Ive tried running it in 32 bits and 64 bits mode but nothing happens except cpu stuck at 100%. IT seems it is stuck in a loop & hogging up resources. I cannot generate a bugreport because the gui is not fully loaded. I've searched the forum but found nothing and it seems everyone can run it on mac except me; please help ! Thanks for all your helps and replies;
I went to http://jdownloader.org/download/index to download the one for MAC and got jDownloader_Java_1_5.dmg from the link; at that time I have no idea which Java I have on my mac. Instead of using dmg pack, I went download the JAVA pack and successfully excecuting "java -Xmx512m -jar JDownloader.jar" in "terminal" Those dmg links in http://jdownloader.org/download/index for MACs are only compatible to Leopard(or pre-leopard with JAVA1.5 installed), and completely incompatible with Snow Leopard 10.6.x which runs : java version "1.6.0_15" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_15-b03-219) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.1-b02-90, mixed mode) Last edited by m3rs4; 01.12.2009 at 06:32. |

multiple instances bug
The problem is NOT solved--it continues in 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard)
