Default Ugly and buggy

Hi,

Thanks for putting an animation into the linkgrabber, now i have only white & blue lines instead of links i can't see nothing. Not for criticize but hope someone has planned we can remove this ugly thing to avoid unnecessary bugs, thanks in advance. Just my opinion.

I think I am seeing the same problem. In the right sidebar under Views I can see that all the links are there. I can add the links using Start Downloads | Download All | Add to Download List and the links are added but, "Please wait, Loading Links..." along with with the flourishing robot continues on the LinkGrabber tab.

Had the same problems, I restarted Jdl and linkgrabber worked.

Something happened, fortunately, and linkgrabber works fine now - although from yesterday I had at least 5 restarts.

edit 14:06

But is was only temporary - I added a link, restarted, and the linkgrabber again loading and loading links.

Is any supporter reading this post ?

edit 14:09

A new restart didn't change, JD2 is loading links ...

Sry, you're right...it just worked temporarily.

You can select and add the "hidden" links in the grabber and the links will appear on your download-tab.

No problem. I usually use flashgot to add and start downloads.
I only use linkgrabber, when I don't to start the download, only store the links for a time, to manually start them when it's appropriate - but if I can't see them, it's hard to do. Now I use my editor to store the links, it's not updated always.

EDIT 19:44
After previous update now works fine, even after some restart.
Will see, how long.

EDIT 19:54
I added one link, no problem-
After restart JD2 is again loading, I waited ~5 minutes for the links (only that 1 link exists).

Thanks for the help.

Edit: I only deleted the folder tmp and it works.

Edit 2: I update JD2 and the same problem again, the problem occurs whenever JD2 installs the updates, JD2 needs to be restarted, (when have or not, links in the linkgrabber).

After updating it worked well - there was no link.
Then I added one link, restarted, and again the perpetual loading.

At the moment the only solution is close JD2 and delete the folder tmp. Finally, open JD2.

It works for me.

Thanks for infos all. I have deleted the temp folder also, logs and version info, everything i could and updated JD manually. After an interminable install (core waiting after writing permission, alert toolbar.exe etc, JD restarted without the disturbing crab. All is well i can see new links in the linkgrabber, until next time this gadget reappear i'm afraid.

Thanks, I deleted tmp, started jd, it worked, but after I made a next restart, the same problem arises.
Naturally the tmp folder isn't really tmp, after deleting it, at restart jd again fill it and leaves filled at exit, so after an exit I always have to delete it, to avoid the problem.
I don't know, what is the purpose of tmp, maybe some type of cache - the start is much slower. if it is deleted.

edit:
but after some delete tmp, start, exit, restart, exit in cycle I see, that the bug sometimes occurs, sometimes doesn't.

Same problem here. The links are added, but only empty lines are displayed in LinkGrabber and the ugly graphic remains, misleading the user into thinking that links are still being processed.

I have disabled the advanced option autoupdatecheckenabled this is the reason why I got the problem only when I update manully, because when JD2 has updates the problem occurs.

But like I said the only solution is close JD2 and delete the folder tmp whenever you have this issue.

Same here.
I'm copying links and the robot appears, but never goes away. I have to copy some text to the clipboard and restart JD2 for the links to appear and continue downloading.

On the one side you re frequently asking for new plugins but on the other side you're so critic that I'd really love to ban you sometimes...

@ pspzocker

For plugins i just asked for some, 5 or 6 in 2 years and they are on the top. The last was declined or not finalized so i think you should revise your theory. So critic for malwares and ugly gadgets i am not alone but yes i assume, ButDoNotTryToForceMeToBeOffTopicForUrPleasureTx.

Edit: also you forget my translation but it's the same it's not time or good place to discuss that so please if you have something to complain about what is my opinion for this graphic that scares everyone you can pm me, not a problem.

I use flashgot to grab JDownloader links. What happens is if I grab a link it works but if I delete it it appears again, delete it it appears again. This continues until flashgot comes up with a firewall error even though there is no firewall.
