Default Trigger EventScripter with JD API

Hey there, I was wondering if it would be possible to trigger an existing EventScripter script with a call to the JDownloader API from an external program?

@HeyItsJono: I can add such an api method, but will only work with certain trigger/event types as you cannot trigger a *new link has been added* script as there is no *new link* to provide to the script.
For example we can add a new trigger type *manual* or use existing *none*.
I guess you want to start scripts remotely?

Just wondering, which advantages that would provide over just triggering it via a different way outside of JDownloader.
What is your use case here?
