Unhappy JD doesn't resume downloads after disconnection :(

Hi Everyone
First of all, JDownloader is a GREAT software, i love every bit of it, but i have a problem that is getting on my nerves!!
Second, I'm very sorry if this bug has already been tracked and/or solved, but I read the first 3 pages and didn't found it.

I have a Megaupload premium account, Windows XP, and the last updated version of JDownloader, and I usually let my computer downloading tons of files at night (usually big files, in .rar parts), the problem is that when sometimes the connection crashes for a few seconds, the program doesn't resume the downloads afterwards... So i wake up, check my computer, and see that it hasn't downloaded almost anything....It really pisses me off!!

What's the problem? What can I do?
I need a geek boyfriend to solve this for me, but I haven't... so....HELP!

Good day all! I am having the same problem. Is it OK to piggyback on this thread or should I create my own?

- I see in task manager that javaw.exe is running, however java.exe is not.

- I have the latest version of JDownloader (0.9.579) and Java (Version 6 Update 21)

- I tried changing max. connections and downloads to "1" but have seen no change.

Is there anything else I can do to fix the problem?

Thank you very much in advance!

If your problem is "JD doesn't resume downloads after disconnection", then that's normal. Not all stuck links, due to disconnections, will be recoverable by jD, at least not with the current download engine.

You'll either see javaw.exe or java.exe running in your Task Manager.

If you're looking for a solution for your connection problems and my recommendations didn't help, please remove all virus and firewall malware from your computer. You don't need a firewall if you've a router firewall. Restart your computer and try again.

If you're still disconnected, please contact your ISP or post a complete and detailed log.
