[Solved] Soundcloud .. Add to Real-Debrid Multihoster

Hello!

Would you be able to update the list of compatible sites to the real-debrid plugin?

Soundcloud is one of them I would like to use that is on there but it looks like there are many more changed sites compared to what you have enabled.

Or is there a way I can assign real-debrid to download soundcloud on my own? I can't find it if there is.

Hi @dsljonline, we typically do not manage supported hosts lists manually, as it's too much work for us to do maintain a reflective list that could change at any time. So how we do this, is have the multihoster provider to send the client (JDownloader) a list of supported domains. We then add them as supported hosts, but we do have code to prevent some hosts from been supported. This is due to how our plugins might work, which wont line up with a given multihoster, for example youtube plugin. I had a quick look at the soundcloud hoster plugin and its disabled.

Maybe there is a way to assign real-debrid as your premium account from the users end. That way you would not be responsible to update the hoster list everytime it changes.

As stated we don't maintain list (they do), so its not our responsibility already.

You would still have an issue of how our plugin adds the link, which wouldn't work with multihoster providers. So that wont work.

The only solution for this, would be manually generating links and then importing the generated link into JDownloader.

Again and as explained by raztoki, we do NOT manually update that list.
We are obtaining it from here:
api.real-debrid.com/rest/1.0/hosts
If e.g. a host is working via real-debrid website and not listed in JD, these are the possibly reasons why:
1. That website is missing in the list of supported hosts which JD gets from them.
2. That website is not suppoted by JDownloader.
3. That website is supported by JDownloader but disabled for multihost usage on purpose.
Examples for that case:

YT
soundcloud.com

In some cases, we can change this.
In your case we'd need your real-debrid logindata (via PN) and information on which SoundCloud URL-Formats real-debrid accepts.
