So i have this download that get restarted from scratch or lose a little size of it and never gets completed, i tried downloading it with another download manager called IDM, it worked so the file or server isn't corrupted, it seems this problem is caused because the server in question redo the download (it also happened a few times with IDM from the said server), i'm no tech savy, so is there a fix to my problem? a config or something like that for this problem?
Though i finally downloaded this file with IDM but there are more files that i want to download from the same server and most of them have this problem. i also set JDownloader to only download one chunk with one connection and this problem still persist. |

Your log is showing a read-timeout.
I can download that same file without problems now so this might have been a temporary serverside issue. Most likely the same problem will happen when you try to download the file manually in browser so please test that.

@yuilightw:You are using local proxy, which can also be cause of the issue, so check the logs from that as well

Tried to download the same file with browser, it stopped after a while around 70% and asked me to restart it, proxy client (Clash) logs is showing it's working and connecting and accepting any request. is there a way to make Jdownloader don't restart a download when it encounter a read-out? instead resume it again? it could be caused by proxy but it's works with other servers and only this server in particular is showing this symptom. downloading without proxy isn't an option because of servers not normally being available in my region. changed proxy inside client and problem still persist. can try a vpn to see what happens but i prefer to solve this problem with proxy, cuz vpn has a usage size limit.
