Default JD2 Failing at 99% for zip or rar files

Hi! Since a couple of days I'm having a strange problem downloading zipped files (zip or rar), that fails at 99%. Not zipped files works ok. The problem seems to be same filesize check.

Here are two logs for two differnent sites, extabit and freakshare.

Maybe it's same problem with my PC? The strange thing is that this wasn't happening last week for example, and it doesn't happen with all zipped files and sites (rapidshare or depositfiles working great for example).

Thanks!

The clue is in the log: Read timeout: network problems! (too many connections?, firewall/antivirus?)

Thanks for your response tony!

Yes, I have firewall and antivirus, but that didn't explain why this is happening only with zipped (or rar) files and only with some hostings (depositfile for example is working great). I suppose it could be a problem with my machine, but I don't understand very well what the problem is.

By the way, I have the max chunk per download is set to 1.

This happens to me too. It stops at 99% and says "Network problems". Then JD waits 5 minutes, tries to resume the download, finishes it but the MD5-checks fails. After all parts of that package are done, JD tries to unpack it, but fails. I have to manually extract the parts (with WinRAR) to identify the failed part and reset and redownload it again. This problem occurs randomly in one out of roughly 20 downloads, I think.

It could be of course something with my network but as ninguno has the same problem it could be JD as well.

Mosty the reason for this is: antivirus software. It started to scan the file before JD receives acknowledge from the server that everything is transmitted correctly. Since the AV has to check inside the archive (unpacking it somewhere in the TEMP directory) it can consume a lot of CPU usage (beacuse AV should work quick as possible) and other processes may suffer.
The best policy is to search if your AV/FW software has the rules for not scanning network traffic from jdownloader/java/javaw executables.

I will try do disable scanning traffic that goes through the according executables and examine the outcome.
