@eagleg: thanks for the example links. I *guess* it would be possible but I don't think that it would be worth the effort. As soon as this captcha can be autosolved, it's very likely that the service will change captcha or worse and change to ugly Recaptcha.

I'll leave this ticket open but I don't see us working on auto solving this captcha. But of course anyone from community is free to work on this

If you ask me, chances of an auto-solution for this are very very low.

he means that at the moment there are no plans for us to add auto captcha support for this site from our side. of course community members are free to work on this and add it but always keep in mind as soon as it's automated, chances are high that the site will switch to different captcha, even maybe recaptcha.

I'm sorry but I'm not familiar enough with the anti captcha training system. I tried to get it running but need more time to get familiar with it. Also can't tell when I will find time for this nor if I will succeed in creating auto captcha for it

Default Problem with captcha

Hi
I've been using Jdownloader for awhile now and it's a really useful piece of software. However one issue I have run into lately is when highlighting 100's of download links on some websites and JDownloader crawls them I get asked to enter a string of characters for each individual link. It can be quite a long processes if crawling 100's of links so I was wondering if there was a solution or way around it? The captcha is called Wcrypt and I have attached an image below of it.

Thanks

I don't know why websites integrate such a captcha it is really bad. Why provide links to download then do it in such a way every link requires a user to enter 4 characters for each link.

To protect the links? to avoid mass crawl/abuse?

Yes of course but surely there is better solution than having your users type out captchas for every single link?

Those services are not meant for mass sharing And the share person can decide how many links are in one wcrypt link.

No.

We're open source so you're free to work on it.

@eagleg: please also remember that once there is sort of auto solving available, most likely the website will switch to some more nasty captcha type like recaptcha
